Concerning Violence

This documentary film, the follow-up to The Black Power Mixtape, premiered at the Sundance Festival 2013. Concerning Violence is a narrative based on archive material covering moments in the struggle for liberation from colonial rule in Africa, combined with text by Frantz Fanon – read by Ms. Lauryn Hill. Stefania Malmsten is the film’s art director and the studio have worked in close collaboration with director and editor to create the text in the film. Posters in ten languages along with other marketing material have also been produced.
